Elsie Mae (Robeson) Hall, 94, of Beaver City, died Sunday (Dec. 14, 2008) at Beaver City Manor.

She was born May 4, 1914, at Holbrook to Andrew and Osa (Mulford) Robeson. She attended school at District 71 in Furnas County for eight years, then Hendley High School at Hendley for three years and graduated from Beaver City High School in 1931. Upon graduation she taught in rural schools in Furnas County for several years. She married Lowell Hall in 1937. They farmed east of Beaver City in the Hollinger area. They lived in Wyoming for a short time in 1939, and then returned to Beaver City. She worked at Becton Dickinson in Holdrege for several years until her retirement. Her husband Lowell died in 1976, at which time she sold the farm and moved into Beaver City. She moved into Beaver City Manor in October of 2008. She was a member of Hollinger United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Beaver City Senior Center Administrative Board and Union Cemetery Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell; step-father, Theodore Wilson; brothers, William Robeson and Cecil Wilson; and sister, Evelyn Allison.

Survivors include her two sisters, Erma Hall of Beaver City and Eleanor Casteel of Scottsbluff and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday at at Hollinger United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jane Blum and Dwain Fowler officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery at Hollinger.
