Raniel N. Dunn, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas, died at 2:00 A.M. Tuesday in Park Peace Hospital after a two week illness.

Mr. Dunn, a native of Columbia, had lived in Port Arthur 43 years and worked as a carpenter at Texaco from 1933 until 1952. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. H. P. Addison of Port Arthur, a son, Edwin S. Dunn of Port Arthur, a sister, Mrs. Carrie Ford of Columbia, two grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two nephews, Louis Ford of Columbia and W. T. Ford Jr. of West Monroe, 3 nieces, Mrs. Beatrice Fisher of Columbia, Mrs. Evelyn Mayfield of Junction City, Ark., Miss Lola Caldwell of Columbia.

Funeral services were Wednesday in Grammier Oberle 39th Street Chapel with the Rev. James Edwards, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Frank Johnson, chaplain of Crestheaven Nursing Home.

Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Funeral services for Noah R. Dunn, 85, of 2849 12th St., are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Grammier-Obelre 39th Street Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Edwards, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Frank Johnson, chaplain of the Cresthaven Nursing Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Dunn died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Park Place Hospital after a two week illness.
