Mrs. Elizabeth B. Bryan Cassaday, 78, formerly of rural West Lafayette, died July 27, 1981, in Stuart Convalescent Center, Stuart, FL, where she had been a patient four weeks. Born at West Lafayette, she lived there until moving to Florida five years ago. She was married in 1935 at West Lafayette to Clifford Cassaday, who died July 19, 1981. She was matron of Tippecanoe County Home for 12 years. She was a member of Battle Ground United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 381, and Tippecanoe Township Home Demonstration Club.
Surviving are a stepson, Robert J. Cassaday of Speedway; a stepdaughter, Betty Lou Langsford of Clearwater, FL; and a foster daughter, Shirley Ann Miller of Jensen Beach, FL. Service Aug. 2 at Battle Ground Cemetery, Rev. R. Neil Anderson officiating.
