William, the subject of this sketch, was married January 14, 1862, to Miss Luzena Payne, a native of Wabash County, Ind., and daughter of Barnabas and Huldah ( Bond) Payne. Her father was born in North Carolina, and her mother in Wayne County, Ind. Both are now deceased.
Mr. Brindle and wife have seven children living, viz.: Stacy W., Alice M., Anna T., Asa S., Arnie L., Albert R. and . Mamie L. In politics, Mr. Brindle acts with the Democratic party. Himself and wife are members of the United Brethren Church.
