Mrs. Schierding was retired as a press operator for R.C. Can Co. in St. Louis and belonged to First Baptist Church of St. Charles.

Among survivors are two sons, A. Loyd Schierding and Royce G. Schierding, both of St. Charles; a daughter, Dolores Bizelli of St. Charles; a sister, Melba Miller of Warrenton; a brother, Porter A. Crouse of Falmouth, Mass.; 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
