Mrs. Wanda Louise D'Angelo, 46, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Meta, drowned Thursday, March 22, near Nogales, Arizona. A native of Meta, Mrs. D'Angelo was born October 17, 1932, a daughter of Loren and Viola Adkins Burd, who survive at Meta.
Mrs. D'Angelo was employed as a department store clerk at Tucson, where she was also a university student.
Other survivors include: her husband, Thomas D'Angelo, Tucson; one brother, Donald Burd, Meta and four sisters, Mrs. Janice Martin, Iberia, Mrs. Leila Bassett, Eagle, Colo., Mrs. Linda Spillars, Mexico and Mrs. Lois Rowden, Meta.
The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Stevinson Funeral Home, Iberia, with the Rev. Robert Hmm officiating. Burial was in the Pendleton Cemetery near Meta.
