Fannie and sister Pina were the daughters of George Washington Benedict from Michigan and Ester Etta Smith from Indiana.
Aunt Fannie was a widow and also the older sister to Uncle Walson's second wife Pina. Walson and Fannie had no children although Fannie had three sons and a daughter Frances E. by her first husband, William Aquinis Cooper who died February 18, 1925 and is buried beside Fannie as is her sister Pina.
