David A. was the son of William Y(1771-1852)and Jane Cary Drake(1775-1849)Was my Fourth Great GrandFather,David A married Elizabeth Ross Ogden. David A. and Elizabeth Ross Ogden Drake.Became the Parents of these children.Mary(Married name unknown)Charles Drake(Birth and Death unknown)James Patterson(1829-1864)David Morris Drake(1838-1889)John O.(1824-1893)and Elizabeth Jane Drake Vennum(1825-1890)(Hiram Vennum)David and Elizabeth Had Three sons that were Civil War Veterans,Charles Drake, David Morris,US Army was a Private Company H.12 Illinois Infantry discharged date 10-July-1865 and John O.Enlisted in 1862 in the 35th Iowa and renlisted in the 42 Illinois Infantry Company K.also a Private got wounded in battle US Army discharged date 26-March-1866.David had brothers and sisters also their were total of 11 children counting David,Had only one brother William C.Drake and three of his sisters are buried here in Princeton Illinois, Bureau County at Oakland Cemetery
