The funeral for Aaron Jenning Townley,76, Mobile, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, at George County Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bryce Evans and Rev. Jim Allison officiating. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge.
Townley died October 14 at the USA Medical Center in Mobile following a lengthy illness. He was a Mason, Shriner and a member of Delta City Methodist Church of Chattanooga, Tenn. Townley was a retired engineer for TVA.
Surivors include his wife, Mrs. Idaree Hunter Townley, formerly of Agricola, and one brother, Omar Townley of Mulberry, Fla.
Pallbearers were nephews of Mr. and Mrs. Townley.
