Dean Chapman, known as "Deno," a lifelong resident of Logansport, Indiana, died at the age of 54, at his home. He was the son of Deloris M. (Haynes) Chapman and Harold D. Chapman. He married Diana Kim Hatter on August 2nd, 1975, in Logansport, Indiana. He retired in 1989 as a Diesel Mechanic and Shop Foreman for Gotwall Trucking, after 17 years of Service, he also was employed 15 years as a Mechanic and Driver for the Logansport Street Department. He was a member of the Logansport Eagles Lodge # 323. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, camping, and playing pool. He also enjoyed NASCAR and playing board games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deloris and Harold Chapman, and a brother, Timothy Chapman. He is survived by: His wife of 33 years, Diana Chapman, of Logansport, Indiana, two brothers, Bradley Chapman of Monticello, Indiana, and Ronald Chapman of Logansport, Indiana, and three sisters, Mary Winn of Logansport, Indiana, Delphi Shaffer of Logansport, Indiana, and Linda Shaffer, of Logansport, Indiana.
