Hershel Lee Mohon, Jr., a former foreman of the Kirk Mining company, died at his home in Beech Creek, on March 4, 1947.
At the time of his death, survivors included his wife, Mrs. Grace Massie Mohno, four daughters, Betty Jo Mohon, Oma Bess, Peggy Mohon, and Donna Lee Mohon, and one son, Burnal Mohon. Burial in Jackson Cemetery.
