Corsicana Semi-Weekly Light (Corsicana, Tex.), Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1931: Aged Resident of Hubbard Community Buried Tuesday. Hubbard, Jan. 17. - G.T. Danford, 82, native of Alabama, but resident of Texas 54 years, died in the Wafer community Monday and the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Dover cemetery. He had resided in the Hubbard community for 20 years. Surviving are four children, Mrs. T.R. Shaw, Fort Worth, J.R. Danford, Fort Worth; T.S. Danford and Mrs. Ann Statham, both of Hubbard; one brother, W.L. Danford, Grimes county; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
