Today-April 14, 2015, I found more proof that Mary Ann was the daughter of Josiah Wise. In Josiah's estate records, I found a listing of portions paid to Josiah's widow and to children including W. M. Brock in right of part of his wife's portion of the estate. The widow and children received $65. each and after the minor children were grown and debts paid, heirs received more from the estate. In 1850, Marion and Mary Ann are living with their parents. They married in about 1851. The 1900 Franklin County Arkansas census says they have been married 49 years. The 1910 Sebastian County Arkansas census says they have been married 59 years.
