George was born 8 May 1851 in Waldron Township, Platte Co. and died in Leavenworth Co., Kansas on 7 August 1946. After the death of Mary, he married 15 year old Cora Maud Branum.
Mary and George had six children that I have been able to locate. Two sons, Charles Z. and Clarence E., are buried with Mary in this cemetery, both having died young. Two other sons, George D., born in August of 1879, and Raymon(d) W., born in July of 1893, were last shown in the 1900 census living with their father and step-mother. Mary also had two daughters, Doxie Ardina and Chiquita.
Doxie Ardina was born 13 December 1888 and died 2 January 1967. She was married to Henry Edward Pierce in Platte Co. on 25 December 1901. Chiquita was born 29 January 1897 and died at Lansing, Kansas on 18 January 1916. She was married to Frank H. Fisher in Jackson Co. on 17 February 1913.
