George C. White, 83, of Indianapolis, died Dec. 11, 2008. He was born Oct. 15, 1925 in Indianapolis,IN to Edward C. and Tryphena (McLeod) White both whom have preceded him in death.

George retired from the Indianapolis Star in the Mailroom. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #135, and was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his loving wife, Imelda B.(Biggerstaff) White; children, James (Debbie),Chris (Terre), Gary (Janice), Barry and K.C. White, Linda (Edward) Petro,Brenda (Dale)Page and Renee (John) McKee; a sister, Mary (Jim) Huffman; 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

No services planned. Private visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Legacy Funeral Center at Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
