Funeral Rites For Mrs. C. Wolf Saturday Afternoon

Rev. C. H. Rohlfing of St. John’s Church Will Conduct the Services at Steinbrinker’s Chapel.

The funeral rites for Mrs. Caroline [sic] Wolf, nee Klinghammer, will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Steinbrinker’s Chapel where services will be conducted by Rev. C. H. Rohlfing, pastor of St. John’s Evangelical Church, following by interment in St. John’s cemetery.

Mrs. Wolf suffered a paralytic stroke four hours before her death and never recovered consciousness before she passed away Thursday afternoon, April 1st, at 2:15 o’clock. She was the widow of the late Anderson Wolf who was a well known business man in St. Charles for many years, and lived at 312 North Second street with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. George Wolf. She was aged 73 years, 6 months and 15 days, and had been enjoying her usual good health.

Four sisters, three brothers, one daughter-in-law and tree grandchildren survive her. Mesdames [sic] Caroling Debatin, George Faerber, William Wilke and Theodore Boeckemeier, Charles, Oscar and William Klinghammer of [sic] Mrs. George Wolf. Misses Louise, Irma and Doris Wolf are her grandchildren. She also leaves a large number of friends and relatives who mourn her passing.
