Lindy Bea Jacoby, 76, of Port Arthur passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at his farm in Warren, Texas.

He was born at Stonewall, Texas on December 4, 1930. He graduated from Fredericksburg High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erie A. Jacoby and Adela Beck Jacoby and a sister Agnes Johnson.

Lindy retired from Gulf Oil-Chevron Corp. with 34 years of service. He was a maintenance supervisor at the time of his retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and gardening was his hobby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Christine Jacoby, his daughter, Linda Murphy and her husband, Michael of Kountze. Three brothers, Allen Jacoby and wife, Sue of Bandera, Herbert Jacoby and wife, Ima Ruth of Euless and Jimmie Jacoby and wife, Helen of Fredericksburg. Three sisters-in-law, Juanita Bryant of Nederland, Frances Owens of Tyler and Dorothy Hicks of Bridge City. He is also survived by the love of his life, his granddaughter and his grandson,Megan Murphy and Jacob Murphy. He also has fifteen nieces and nephews.
