JENKINS, Lyell Elmore, 86, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He was a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He was the owner and operator of Naylor's Farm and Naylor's Beach Campgrounds, and a bus driver for Richmond County Schools for 35 years. He served as president for Richmond County Farm Bureau, and also served on the Richmond County Planning Commission for 42 years. He loved his community and neighbors. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife, Waverly Jenkins; and his son, Mark Wayne Jenkins. He is survived by his son, Clifton L. Jenkins and his wife, Bonnie, of Warsaw; a daughter, Nancy Wills and her husband, Charles, of Mechanicsville; a close friend, Susan Smith; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Rappahannock Baptist Church, Newland, Va. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 12, at the Montross Chapel of the Welch Funeral Home, Montross, Va.
