Obituary for Dr. Jerome C. Arnett, Sr.--age 69, of Rowlesburg, died June 4, 1982, in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg. He was born May 30, 1913, in Parsons, s/o the late Rex J. and Effie Cayton Arnett of Aurora. He graduated Aurora High School, West Virginina Weslyan College and the University of Maryland Medical School in 1941. He started his family practice in April 1941 in Rowlesburg and retired in May of 1978. He is survived by his wife, Maye Fike Arnett; three sosn, Dr. Jerome Arnett, Jr., of Elkins, Dr. Edward Arnett of Martinsburg, and Dr. Carroll Arnett, of Long Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Colette Listh of Newark, Ohio. He donated his body to University Hospital for medical research.
Note; he was later creamated and buried in the Eglon Cemetery.
