Beulah Irene (Beaver) Bickford was born on Tuesday; November 16, 1920 in Harvey; Marion County, Iowa. She was the daughter of: Jacob Beaver and Susan (DeFore) Beaver. Beulah attended country schools in the Harvey, Iowa area. She was married to Jack Hartness and the couple farmed. Jack passed away in 1970 and she later married Orville Bickford who passed away in 2003. Beulah lived in Marion County most of her life and was a homemaker and farm wife. She was an avid reader and always kept up on current events.
Beulah Irene (Beaver) Bickford, age 88, passed away on Sunday; December 7, 2008 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital in Knoxville; Marion County, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her daughters: Barbara (Eldon) Brown of Arnold's Park; Dickinson County, Iowa. Loretta (Richard) Whitlatch of Knoxville, Iowa. Sharon (Dennis) Ripperger of Indianola; Warren County, Iowa and Connie (Frank) Pearson of Altoona; Polk County, Iowa. Her twelve grandchildren and her nineteen great-grandchildren. Her sister-in-law: Vera Beaver of Knoxville, Iowa. As well as other family members and a hose of friends. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; several brothers, sisters and a son-in-law: Robert Eggers. May they rest in peace.
