Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson, pastor, and the Rev. Alan Williamson, chaplain of Park Central Communities, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Massingill was born and raised in Crosby County. She graduated from high school in Mount Blanco and graduated from Draughon's Business School. She married J.B. Massingill on June 23, 1929, in Lovington, N.M.
She lived in the Phillips-Borger area for more than 60 years before moving to Amarillo in 1994. She was a resident of The Continental where she played the organ for chapel services. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; and a grandson, Mike Coss in 2000.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Coss of Fritch and Annette McDaniel of Lubbock; two sons, Jerry Massingill of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Jim Massingill of San Antonio; a sister, Winn Coggin of Seguin; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Continental Apartments Hope Fund, 1300 S. Jackson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
