Death certificate and obituary show that Miriam and her sister Rose died a few days apart due to complications from pneumonia. Cemetery records show funeral service and interment held on August 19, 1886.

Thanks to Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery for locating the grave of Miriam and Rose, interment records and for the photos. Sadly to say, Miriam and Rose are buried together in an unmarked grave.
