Graveside services for Lonnie Eugene Lunsford, 60, of Minden, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. George Killebrew officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.
Mr. Lunsford died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at a local nursing home. He was born Sept. 24, 1948, in Minden and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of Calvary Temple in Mount Enterprise and was employed at Hall Manufacturing.
Family received friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Lorene Lunsford and brother, Sammy Lunsford.
Survivors include: son, Franklin Duane Lunsford of Indiana; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lunsford of Ringgold, La.; sisters, Marie Postell and husband Frank of Oak Hill and Reta Reeves and husband Jesse of Minden; six grandchildren; friends, Buddy Silvey of Minden, Becky Landrum of Laneville and Barbara Self White of Mount Enterprise.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Reeves, Kenneth Postell, Kevin Postell, Scotty Bryant, Clint Reeves and J.R. Lauderdale.
