LIVINGSTON – Joe Manry Luckey, 86, of Livingston died on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in Temple. Funeral services were held Friday, June 13, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roger Gragg officiating. Burial followed in Menard Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Luckey was born Aug. 23, 1921 in Liberty to parents Marion Luckey and Violet Sutton Luckey. He proudly served the country in WWII in the Army from May of 1942 until October of 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Lucky; six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his children, John Luckey of Houston, Dixie Stidham of Livingston, Dale Luckey of California and Violet Pullin of Refugio; grandchildren, Robin Luckey, Laura Luckey, John C. Luckey, Kathy Shively and Misty Greco and seven greatgrandchildren.
