Mr. Elton L. "K.Y." Kelly
A native of Butler, Alabama and resident of Gulfport for many years passed away Friday August 18, 2006. He was 80.
Mr. Kelly was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. He was a member of Orange Grove Masonic Lodge #133 F&AM. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry H. Kelly and Cassie Dearmon Kelly, three sisters and one brother.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Ruth Burrus Kelly. Two sons, William H.(Gail) Kelly and Elton Wayne(Mary) Kelly. One daughter Sandra Lynn Kelly. Four grandchildren: Kristen(Charles) Allen, William Brandon Kelly, Danielle Kelly and Shannon Ford all of Gulfport. One brother T.H. Kelly and one sister Marie Broussard, both of Stonewall, MS., other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday August 21, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home Hwy. 49 North, Gulfport.
Funeral services will be Tuesday August 22, 2006 at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Larry H. Hilliard officiating.
Interment will be in Coalville Cemetery.
