PORT ALLEGANY -- Donna L. Knight, 64, of Roulette, died Sunday (March 27, 2005) in her home following a lengthy illness. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert J. Hartle Funeral Home Inc. Donna L. Knight, 64, of Roulette died Sunday (March 27, 2005) at her home following a long illness.
She was born Jan. 31, 1941 in Coudersport a daughter of Maxine Stone Harvey. On Dec. 29, 1956 in Roulette, she married Claud E. Knight, who survives Mrs. Knight attended Coudersport High School and was employed by Pure Carbon, Coudersport, as a Senior Inspector. She was a past member of the Roulette Fire Department Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Debra K. Lincoln of Smethport and Barbara
K. Steele of Haymarket, VA; one son, Claud A. Knight of Colorado Springs, CO; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Leroy Knight and Gregory Lee Knight.
Funeral and committal services were held Wednesday (March 30, 2005) at the Hartle Funeral Home, Port Allegany, with the Rev. Charles R. Schmitt, pastor of St. Gabriel's Church, officiating. Burial was in Fishing Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
Memorials may be made to the Patterson Cancer Care Center, Charles Cole Hospital, Coudersport, PA.
