Death Of S.D. Kopf
S.D. Kopf, prominent resident of George County, died in New Orleans Hospital Wednesday, September '18. He was 78 years old. A native of Lowell, Mich. and come to Mississippi 20 years ago making his home in George County.
He was a well known farmer.
He leaves two sisters, and a brother: Mrs. Myrtie Banks, Lowell, Mich., Mrs. Alice Hurley, Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. C.H. Kopf, Middleville, Mich., a daughter, Mrs. G.W. Barnes of Washington, D.C., grand daughter and other relatives.
His funeral was held Saturday, September 21, with services by Rev. S. Coleman of Harleston and interment was in the Magnolia cemetery in Lucedale, Miss., with Fails Mortuary of Moss Point in charge.
Pallbearers were: Carl Brinkman, Al Schmits, Chris Brinkman, Marshall Tanner, Wilbur Rush, and A.D. Tilley.
Put in by nephew and niece.
