"The 73rd is pretty well used up there aint more than 200 men that is fit for duty they are a taking them to the hospittal at nashville the whole brigade went out day before yesterday we went out ten miles there was 100 wagons went out after feed we went along to keep of the rebels some of the pickets was askirmishen with them we will cleen them out before long I have money yet you neanten send me any..."
