Frank Marshall COCHRANE, 86, of Ewing, left to go home to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon Aug. 20, 2000 from the Franklin Skilled Care in Benton.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington, with the Rev. Larry CLYATT officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to his son-in-law, Rodney SINK, who is battling cancer.
Mr. COCHRANE was a retired employee of Vernois Stove Foundry of Mt. Vernon.
He made a profession in Christ and attended New Hope Free Will Baptist Church as long as his health permitted.
He was born in Jefferson County, near Belle Rive, the son of Lawrence C. and Lillie B. (MARSHALL) COCHRANE. He married the former Loraine WILLIAMS on Nov. 22, 1941 in Missouri.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Loraine; one daughter, Betty SINK and husband Rodney of Benton. One grandson, Mark SINK and wife Lisa and their children, Damon and Travis of Christopher; two granddaughters; Leann ROBERTS and husband Riley and their children, Kacee and Kessa of Whittington; Becky GRAHAM and husband David and their children, Janelle and Josh of Ewing. One sister-in-law, Ruth COCHRANE PRIOR of St. Louis, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
