Maxwell Gosnell 74 of Glasgow died Saturday December 6, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County, KY the son of Ada Lee Gosnell Anderson. Mr. Gosnell was retired from Eaton Corp., was a farmer and more recently a security guard at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a member of the Bethel Independent Baptist Church.

He is survived by 5 daughters Max Helen Proffitt (Ricky) of Glasgow, Kathie Kingrey (Wilbur) of Glasgow, Penny Hart of Florida, Demetria Gosnell of Glasgow and Vera Allo (Tony) of Florida; 2 sons Michael Gosnell of Edmonton and Allan Gosnell (Janna) of Glasgow; a sister Rebecca Rubash of Yarnell, AZ; 17 grandchildren: Scott and Cory Proffitt, Alicia Hume, Kevin Turner, Stephanie, Kent, Jonathan, Jordan, Wesley and Ashton Gosnell, Max Childers, Brandon and Taylor Hart, and Noah, Hannah, Elisha and Josiah Allo; 10 Great Grandchildren; 1 niece, 1 nephew and many cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 10, 2008 at the Bethel Independent Baptist Church with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Tuesday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Wednesday at Bethel Independent Baptist Church from 10:00am until time for the service.
