Thule, Greenland - 1980

The Northernmost Fire Dept. In The World

People often react strongly to that vividly different enviroment with its striking patterns of light and darkness. It's bitter winters and giddily bright soft summers. Sleep comes slowly on the sunlit nights. The winters are burdensome and depressing, restrictive of both outer and inner movement. One must be physically and also mentially tuned to live in The Far North
