Survivors with the wife are two daughters, Mrs. Zera (Mary Elizabeth) Blickenstaff of Chapman Lake, and Mrs. Paul (Evelyn Marie) Zumbrun, Route 7, Columbia City; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren North Winona in Warsaw. He also was a member of the professional fraternity, Phi Delta Kappa, and the Retired Teachers Association. He was a school administrator for 35 years and in the insurance business for 31 years.
Services were held Sunday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Timbercrest Chapel in North Manchester. The Rev. Lester Young officiated with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in North Manchester. Arrangements were in charge of the DeLaughter Mortuary in North Manchester. Memorials may be made to the Timbercrest Home or the Church of the Brethren North Winona in Warsaw.
