She was born on May 10, 1913, in Collierstown in Rockbridge County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Granville and Brucie Vess Clark.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Advent Christian Church and a member of the Sharon Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her son, Eric Roscoe Hostetter of Longdale Furnace, Clifton Forge, Virginia; three grandchildren, Eric M. Hostetter and his wife Tina also of Longdale Furnace, Clifton Forge, Vicki D. Burton and her husband Buddy of Sarasota, Florida, and Tammy R. Hostetter of Clifton Forge; five great grandchildren, Erica L. Hostetter, Eric M. Hostetter, Jr., Krystal P. Howard, Virginia J. Howard, and Anastasia M. Burton; two nephews, Danny Clark and Robert Clark; three nieces, Rita Clark, Cathy Clark, and Peggy Caroll.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oakey Marion Hostetter; two brothers, Loyd Vess and Gordon Clark; and one sister, Irene Clark
