William W. "Bill" Wallace, 71, of Reelsville passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2008.

Born Jan. 31, 1937 in Knightsville, he was the son of Ben and Nettie Haltom Wallace. He married Barbara Williams on June 16, 1956 and she survives.

Mr. Wallace was a farmer, a custodian for South Putnam School Corporation and a clay worker for American Vitrified. He attended the McKinley Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors also include his children, Carol Butler and husband Kenneth of Raleigh, N.C., William D. Wallace and wife Rebecca of Reelsville and Michael Wallace and wife Rhonda of Cloverdale; sisters Norma Brown of Brazil, Ruth Sciotto and husband Bill of Rosedale and Janet Wallace of Brazil; brother Jim Wallace of Brazil; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

His parents, sister Julia Wallace and brothers Don Wallace and Lester Wallace preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale with Brother Richard Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Croy's Creek Cemetery.
