Lucy Ann Place was the daughter of Joseph "Joe" Place and Sarah (Noland) Place.

Lucy Ann Place married Philander Hall Storts on 07 JUL 1853 in Athens County, Ohio.

They were the parents of 11 children:

(01) Almira Storts, wife of William Monroe Krigbaum.

(02) Jamie Temperance 'Perry' Storts Walker, wife of Albert Walker.

(03) Joseph Philander Storts, husband of Alice Adaline "Pony" Davis.

04) Emaline Storts, wife of Madison James.
