RUTH GERMUNDSEN Loving mother of five children, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005, of heart failure at 85 years of age. Born Ruth Ann Teresa McAdam January 26, 1920, in Glaston, North Dakota, she married Willie Germundsen (now deceased) January 18, 1944, and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1994. They lived for five years in Hawaii before eventually moving to Hayward, California, and raising five children. She remarried long-time family friend Ed Looney on April 1, 2000, and enjoyed a wonderful life of Laughlin trips, watching grandchildren's sporting events and season tickets to the Oakland A's. She loved square dancing, crossword puzzles, reading, lakes and her cats. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed, brother Mac, children Dennis, Dean, Rita, Mary and Kevin, and leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorial services will be March 17, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Hayward, California. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
