Judith was the daughter of Myer and Elkaleh "Cohen" Myers. She married Jacob Mordecai on 16 Jun 1784 in New York. They were the parents of six children, Moses, Samuel, Rachel, Ellen, Solomon and Caroline. She was first buried in Warrenton, NC, but her remains were removed in 1819 to Richmond, VA and re-interred in the Beth Hayeim Jewish Cemetery. Judith, was a woman of delicate constitution who died at the time of the birth of her seventh child.
