Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her parents, James Elisha Ferguson and Elta Dorothy Ruff Ferguson; husband, Alvin A. Daniel and brothers, David, Vance, and Lee Dale Ferguson.
Mrs. Daniel, a retired secretary for the Wynne Public Schools, was a long time resident of Wynne. She served as Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Director at Wynne Baptist Church and was a member of the choir and WMU.
She was a member of the Arkansas Retired Teacher Association, County Retired Teacher Association, Cross County AARP, past member and Secretary of the AARP. Mrs. Daniel was a member of the State Legislative Committee, Local Coordinator AARP Health Advocacy; National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Cross County Hospital Auxiliary; Area Agency on Aging Board Member and Secretary. She was a member of the Silver Haired Legislature Alumni Association and she served as a Delegate for the Arkansas Silver Haired Legislature.
Survivors are her daughter, Barbara Daniel Gullett of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, William S. Ferguson of Clinton, Arkansas; sister, Elda Steen of Chesterton, Indiana; grandchildren, Vada Melissa Gullett Fallica and Dawn Renee Gullett Rivers; five great grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Tanner Rivers, Benjamin and Jacob Fallica.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 9:00 AM at Wynne Baptist Church with burial in East Lawn Cemetery, Marshall, Arkansas at 3:30 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home.
