She was born Oct. 3, 1915, in French Lick, the daughter of George E. and Martha Vance Condra. She was a member of the Georgetown Christian Church, the Saluda Homemakers Club and the Order of the Easter Star Chapter 387, English.
She is survived by two daughters, Karlene Whitaker of Taswell and Nancy Lock of Hawthorne, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Kimmel; her parents; two sisters, Georgia Ferree and Ruby Condra; and one brother, Harley Edward Condra.
The funeral was at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
