BOVINA - Barberette Sikes, 78, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Bovina with the Rev. Brian Mullins, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
Mrs. Sikes was born May 16, 1930, in Fairy to Joshua Irdale and Essie Homa Blakley Jameson. She married Wilfred Ernest Sikes on Sept. 4, 1948.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Riley of Bovina; a sister, Ada Titas of Syracuse, Ohio; a brother, Jessie Jameson of Hamilton; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of Bovina, 308 Third St., Bovina, TX 79009.
