Obituary (Moberly (MO) Monitor-Index, May 22, 1928)- Funeral services for Logan Bates, 10 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bates, of the New Hope neighborhood, were conducted at Ash by the Rev. F. M. Baker, of Moberly, yesterday afternoon. Burial was made at Ash. G. C. Minor, Moberly undertaker, was called to the New Hope neighborhood to take charge of the remains Sunday morning. The boy was born in Monroe County. He is survived by his parents; one brother, Howard; two sisters, Pauline and Ruth; and three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Prewitt, of near Cairo, and James Bates, of Duncan's Bridge.
