Services for Jesse Leon "Slick" Henderson Sr., 90, of Sedalia were at 1 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. John Dale and Gary Hill officiated. Burial with military rites was in Williams Cemetery in Weakley County, Tenn.
Mr. Henderson died Friday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he retired from Merit Clothing Company and was a member of Glendale Church of Christ in Murray and a former member of Lebanon Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Pauline Stephenson Henderson; two sons, Jesse Leon Henderson Jr. of Lynnville and John V. Henderson of Cuba; four sisters, Dean Henderson Panel and Pauline Henderson Ray, both of South Fulton, Tenn., and Dorothy Henderson Chestnut and Nell Henderson Strelow, both of Salt Lake City; one brother, Paul Henderson of Fulton; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Alene Henderson; two brothers; and three sisters. His parents were Vick and Lula Moore Henderson.
