Mr. Henderson died Friday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he retired from Merit Clothing Company and was a member of Glendale Church of Christ in Murray and a former member of Lebanon Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Pauline Stephenson Henderson; two sons, Jesse Leon Henderson Jr. of Lynnville and John V. Henderson of Cuba; four sisters, Dean Henderson Panel and Pauline Henderson Ray, both of South Fulton, Tenn., and Dorothy Henderson Chestnut and Nell Henderson Strelow, both of Salt Lake City; one brother, Paul Henderson of Fulton; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Alene Henderson; two brothers; and three sisters. His parents were Vick and Lula Moore Henderson.
