Mrs. R. Kellam, widow of the late Russell Kellam, passed away at her home in this city, Sunday evening, about 6 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. She had been in bad health for several years, having suffered a stroke of paralysis.
Mrs. Kellam was prior to her marriage a Miss Baskin and was born in Pulaski County.
She was about 74 years old and had been a member of the Baptist Church here for a number of years and was much beloved by all who knew her.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. G. R. Mathews, besides a number of other relatives to mourn her death.
The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Baptist Church in the presence of a large crowd. Re. R. W Eubanks conducted the funeral.
The interment took place after the funeral services at the city cemetery.
