Andrew Jackson Guffy Oldest living member of Northumberland county Bar died at his Watsontown home. He was born 1825 and admitted to the bar in 1849. He had practiced his profession for sometime. He was a prominent and highly respected citizen of Watsontown.
Personal note: he was also a surveyor in which he surveyed Watsontown and Milton. He was also the Grandson of Alexander Guffy ,patrotic during the revolutionary war near the Turbotville area. According to Watsontown Presbyterian church records he was referred as Jackson Guffy joined 3/3/1905 And in the newspaper as AJ Guffy
