Geraldine Rice Bray, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2008, from 1 pm until the 3 pm funeral service at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Interment will follow in the Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery in Brandon.
Mrs. Bray was born in Donna, TX, grew up in Kinder, LA and has lived in Pearl for the past 15 years.
She loved plants, flowers and her passion was working in her yard.
Mrs. Bray is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Geneva Mae Rice.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathie Sorensen and husband, Tom of Pearl; her son, Billie W. Bray Jr. and wife, Amanda of Mobile, AL; her brother, R. Theodore Rice of Discovery Bay, CA; three sisters, Betty L. Rice White of Pineville, LA, N. Jean Hunt Rice of Lafayette, LA; and Ginger M. Eubanks Rice of Newhall, CA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MS. Chapter 408 Fontaine Place, Suite 104, Ridgeland, MS. 39157.
