OBIT:
WHITE. At the home of her son, David White, in Spirit Lake, February 26th, Mrs. Kizah Jane White, aged eighty-four years.
The deceased came to Spirit Lake from Mahaska county last November to visit in the home of her son. Pneumonia, resulting from the grip, was the immediate cause of death. In 1836 she was married to Joseph D. White and has resided in Iowa since 1847. Seven of a family of fifteen children survive.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon and the remains were sent to Mahaska county for interment.
