Mrs. Keziah Bachar, 88, died at 7:30 P. M. Tuesday, May 27, 1958 in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Beaver, near Vanlue. She had been seriously ill for about 10 months.
A resident of the vicinity of Vanlue for the last 30 years, Mrs Bachar was born in Hancock county Sept. 22, 1869 to Daniel and Rebecca (Hoagland) Sampson. She was married Dec. 29, 1887 to James Bachar and he died in 1928.
Mr. and Mrs. Bachar were the parents of three children, one of whom is deceased. Surviving are a son, Pearl Bachar, Toledo, the daughter, Mrs. Carl Beaver, in whose home her death occurred, six grandchildren, 18 great-great gandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Bessie Snare, Toledo, and Mrs. Emma Frantz, Temperance, Michigan and two brothers, Henry Sampson, Shelby and Nelson Sampson, Mt Blanchard.
Mrs. Bachar was a member of the Fostoria Methodist church and the Maccabees in that city.
Funeral services will be held at _:30 P. M. Saturday in the Goff Funeral Home in Carey. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery south of Vanlue. Friends may call at the Goff Funeral Home after 7:30 this evening.
