Funeral services for Vernon Canida, 59, of Lyles, who died Thursday morning in Dickson hospital were conducted at 2 p.m. at Hudgins Chapel in Williamson County by Charles P. Covington. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include six sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Thormton, Mrs. Essie Cauthorn, Nashville, Mrs. Viola Demonbruen, Ashland City, Mrs. Helen Woodward, Franklin, Mrs. Jewel Beard, and Mrs. Irene Canida, Lyles; one brother, Buster Canida, Lyles, several nieces and nephews
