Virla Lee Foster, 97, of Cleveland, and formerly of Niota, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008.
She was a member of Sweetwater First Assembly of God, and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde E. Foster; one daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Richard Jenkins; her parents, Arthur E. and Nettie Kyker Anderson; one sister and brother-in-law, Marchie and Cleo Hughes; and one brother, Lester Anderson.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Raylene and Bill Robinson of Cleveland; one sister, Ruth Anderson of Niota; four grandchildren and three spouses, Judy and Eddie Bingham of Chattanooga, and Jeff Robinson, Ken Robinson and wife, Mitzi, and Stephanie West and husband, Alex all of Cleveland; 11 great-grandchildren, Alan Bingham, Ashley Baker, Meredith, Jared, Kelsey, Holly and David Robinson and Carlye, Elijah, Michaela and Micah West; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kyker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God in Sweetwater with Pastor Larry Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery in Niota.
Kyker Funeral Home of Sweetwater is in charge of arrangements.
