IRA R. ATTEBERY

Ira R. Attebery, 70, year old retired real estate agent and utilities executive, died at 9 a.m. today at his home in Cabool.

Mr. Attebery had been a resident of Cabool for the past 19 years. Prior to that he was state manager for Western Light and Telephone company for 10 years.

He was a member of Cabool Methodist church, where he was superintendent of the Sunday School and a member of the board of trustees.

Surviving are his wife, Lillie B. Attebery; a son, John O. Attebery, of Mountain Grove; and one granddaughter, Another son, Allen was killed in action during World War II.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Cabool Methodist church with the Rev. James Overby and the Rev. Clark, Leonard officiating.

Graveside services will be held Thursday in Mt. Tabor cemetery at Atlanta, Mo. Arrangements are under direction of Elliott-Gentry of Cabool.
